We are a UK-registered studio, so London clients get the simplest version of everything: sterling invoicing, UK contract law, and the same working day for most replies.
London work splits between two groups. Publishers and academic presses commissioning Arabic-to-English editions, and businesses and individuals who need documents translated and certified for use in the UK.
For publishers, the useful thing about a UK supplier is not proximity — the work is files either way — but the paperwork. Invoicing is in sterling from a UK company, VAT-ready, with the reference fields a finance system expects. Contracts are under the law of England and Wales, which for most institutional procurement removes a step.
For certified document work, we translate and certify at a published 25% surcharge over the tier price. What a receiving body accepts varies — some want a certified translation, some want it notarised, some want an apostille on top — so ask them exactly what they require before commissioning. We will meet the specification if we can and say plainly if it needs a notary we are not.
For anything scholarly, the interesting London work tends to involve archival and classical sources, where the difficulty is terminology and transliteration convention rather than fluency. Tell us which convention your press uses and it binds the whole job.

We are a UK-registered company and our invoicing is VAT-ready. Ask us for our current status before raising a purchase order and we will tell you plainly rather than leaving you to guess.
Can you certify a translation for the Home Office or a university?
We provide certified translations at a published surcharge. Check with the receiving body first — requirements differ, and some need notarisation or an apostille, which is a separate step we will tell you about rather than quietly skip.
Can we meet?
We work remotely and keep everything in writing, which is usually better for a project with terminology decisions in it. For a substantial commission we are happy to take a call.
