Terminology is agreed before drafting and held across the whole book, so chapter twelve sounds like chapter one and a name never drifts between editions.
A file the printer rejects
We produce PDF/X at your stated trim, margins and bleed. Send the printer's spec sheet. If a file comes back rejected we fix it at no charge.
A series that stops matching itself
Send an earlier volume and we build the template and style memory from it, so volume four sits on the shelf beside volume one.
Arabic set as an afterthought
Right-to-left interiors set the way Arabic is actually set, with vocalisation handled properly — including Arabic running inside a Latin-script page.
Rights and permissions left vague
We track permission per project for anything shown publicly. Nothing of yours appears in our work unless you have said it can.
A schedule that slips
Turnaround is stated on the quote and rush is a named 48-hour option at a published rate, so a deadline has a price rather than a conversation.

Questions publishers ask
Will our existing glossary be used?
Yes. Send it in any format and it becomes binding for the book, applied from the first chapter rather than negotiated per pass.
Can we review before it is finalised?
That is the Professional tier's review checkpoint. You see the decisions that needed a judgement call and can override any of them; overrides propagate through the whole book.
Do you handle front matter and the imprint page?
Yes — half title, title page, imprint, dedication and any plate pages, set to your house pattern.
What about a book that is already typeset badly?
Send it. Re-setting from the source is usually faster and cheaper than repairing a broken file, and you end up with a template you can reuse.
Do you work on religious titles?
Often, and carefully. Quoted scripture is never machine-translated, established reference translations are used and every instance is flagged, and covers for religious titles carry no depictions of people.
